Stage race this weekend

Welcome all riders into the valley! A reminder that the prologue will be happening all day in the Warren village and Sunday’s stage will also be passing through by way of Brook Rd. to Flatiron Rd. and out to Rte. 100 through the south end of town. Let’s cheer them on!

Condratulations to Jess ,our deli manager on her marriage to Jesse on Saturday. We wish them all the best.

What a spectacle in front of the Warren Store yesterday-kids of all ages marinated in chocolate cream while the Harwood jazz band simmered on the porch up above. There will be some great shots of the day’s festivities posted on the Warren Store facebook page in a day or two.

Benefit for Vermont Troops and Families

Members of Big Basin Band and special guests will provide music at a benefit to be held at the Local Folk Smokehouse on Sat. September 11th. Music starts at 9pm. Come on out and support our fellow Vermonters serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and overseas and their families. Proceeds from this benefit will be donated to the Vermont Military Family Assistance Fund.

Yoga and Wine Tasting Evening at SHARC!

Join us at Sugarbush Health and Raquet Club this Weds. August 25th at 4pm for a soul lifting Namaste yoga class with April Smith and then a spirit lifting wine tasting after the class at poolside with me. I’ll be featuring some really cool new Spanish wines, both red and white, that don’t break the bank and we’ll top it off with Chocovine- a scrumptious blend of Dutch chocolate and French cabernet[Nan’s favorite!]. I know it might sound weird[I tried it at a wine tasting event for the trade almost at the threat of gunpoint!] and it’s pretty good! Grace Under Fire Chocolate Bars Available!

We are happy to announce that Grace Under Fire bars from Champlain Chocolate will be available at the Warren Store as early as next week.  If you haven’t seen Gracie and the Nocturnals recently you owe it to yourself to check them out. I saw the group last week at the waterfront in Burlington and they were smoking!
